The fountain was built by Sultan Abdulmecid in
1845. The Fountain of Sultan Abdulmecid Khan is located where Bademlik and
Cekmece streets meet. This historical fountain includes a section in the front
side which allows people to pray.
This is one of the special fountains which has
been able to survive till today with its water tank and “temple” on top of
it.
